Medication Safety Health Risk Assessment

Are you at risk for drug-related problems?

More people than ever before are taking medications to control chronic (long-lasting) medical conditions. The number of prescription and non-prescription drugs continues to grow, and the number of conditions that can be treated with drugs is on the rise, too. Unfortunately, the potential for drug-related problems is also increasing.

Drug-related problems can come from:
    1) Adverse events - unwanted effects from medications
    2) Duplications - taking two or more drugs with the same effects
    3) Interactions - reactions with other medications

This simple quiz will help you determine if you are at risk for drug-related problems. This quiz is only intended for persons who are currently taking at least one medication.

Statement of Confidentiality
As you complete this quiz, you will not be asked for any identifying information (such as your name or Social Security number). To maintain your privacy even further, your responses will not be stored, which means you must complete the entire quiz in one session.
